The hot summer heat is winding down now and September brings with it not only cooler weather, but exciting outdoor events! With everything from water events, sporting competitions, and football season, you’ll definitely want to spend September in the BC!

The Great Miami River Days is one of the largest water festival events in the country! This event, taking place on the banks of the Great Miami River in Hamilton, is September 11 through 12 and will feature ski and jet shows, wakeboarders, rowing, pontoon rides, food, crafters, historical re-enactors, rides, Team Fastrax, and so much more!

The best wakeboarders in the world will be converging at Wake Nation in Fairfield on September 17 through 19 at the Monster Energy Wake Park Triple Crown Championships! This competition will feature both men and women, pro and amateur, wakeboarders competing in one place. This event is free for the public to enjoy!

Cheer on your Miami University Redhawks Football Team as they play Colorado State at Yager Stadium in Oxford on September 18! You won’t want to miss the Redhawk’s packed football schedule this year as they play opponents such as the University of Cincinnati, Ohio University, Bowling Green, and more!
